I am running Edinburgh marathon in support of CoppaFeel! as a way of me offering something to a charity that my wife (Beth) and I feel very passionate about. Beth was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at just 22 years old and works hard to promote early detection with CoppaFeel! through her role as a Boobette for the charity. I want to do challenges to support the charities that have supported us over the years. 2 years ago I ran a half marathon for Breast Cancer Now so I thought this time I would increase the difficulty and run a full marathon.
All donations no matter how big or small will be hugely appreciated and I know CoppaFeel! will be massively grateful also.
CoppaFeel! are the first UK breast cancer charity to create awareness amongst young people, with the aim to install a new healthy habit that could one day save a life. They are on a mission to stamp out late detection of breast cancer and ensure the nation is checking their boobs regularly. They want to educate people on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, encourage them to get to know what is normal for them and empower young people to have the confidence to see a doctor if they notice anything that isn't right for them.
