On Sunday 4th August we will be taking part in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 bike ride, with the added incentive of raising money for the Charity Diabetes UK.

Diabetes is a serious condition where you blood glucose level is too high. There are two main types, Type 1 and Type 2, which are different conditions and both are serious.  Someone is diagnosed with Diabetes every two minutes.  Left untreated, over a long period of time, high glucose levels in your blood can seriously damage your heart, your eyes, your feet and your kidneys. But with the right treatment and care, people can lead a healthy life, with much less risk of experiencing these complications.

Please help me to raise money and awareness of this fantastic and very worthy charity which offers invaluable support to both families and those living with this serious condition.
