London Landmarks Half Marathon 2019 · 24 March 2019 ·

In 2019, our team of #MSSuperstars will take on the London Landmarks Half Marathon to help stop MS. This is their page.

Story

I've never run a half marathon before, not even near this distance. This is a real challenge and the training has started.

Too many people I know suffer from or are affected by MS - this run is to help raise funds for the MS Society to help valuable research into the disease along with offering support to those who have the disease.

Please help me run faster by supporting! All donations gratefully received for this great cause.

And, at least the dog will appreciate the extra runs, training and exercise...even if she could do it at 4 x the speed I can and still not be tired!

What is MS? MS is an unpredictable and incurable condition that affects people's nervous systems. It can attack suddenly or progress steadily, bringing a range of symptoms which can include sight loss, incontinence, fatigue and mobility problems. No-one with MS can be sure when or how it will affect them next.

The MS Society understand what life's like with MS. And together we are stronger. They're researching, writing, campaigning and fighting. Running, walking, caring and talking. Please support the team - all of the MS Superstars are hoping to raise in excess of £100,000 for people affected by MS in this event. This will help fund vital research into the causes of MS and possible treatments. It will keep the helpline open, answering the calls of those looking for advice and support. It will fund grants, the online forum, informational materials and much more.

Please help, let's stop MS together.
