<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; line-height: normal;"><span style="color: #282828; font-size: 14px;">Daniel, from Edinburgh, is only 8 and he suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, which is a degenerative and fatal muscle wasting disease that affects 1 in every 3,500 male children. Daniel's condition has now deteriorated so much that he can't walk without a wheelchair, and there is no cure.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; line-height: normal;"><span style="color: #282828; font-size: 14px;">Although Daniel's condition means he has a short life expectancy he wants to be a football commentator when he grows up. He loves football and his favourite footballer is Torres. Last year Daniel wrote to Torres to tell him about his condition and Torres' then-team, Liverpool, arranged for Daniel to meet him, but sadly Torres was transferred to Chelsea the day before the meeting and it was never re-arranged. Daniel then wrote to the charity Rays of Sunshine to ask them to grant his 'wish' to see Chelsea play and meet Torres.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; line-height: normal;"><span style="color: #282828; font-size: 14px;">If we can raise the money Daniel and his family will travel from their home in Edinburgh where Daniel will spend the day having a tour of Stamford Bridge, get to choose a souvenir from the Chelsea shop, watch a match and finally meet his hero. It would mean the world to him.</span></p>
