Deafblind Scotland's East Fortune Roller Marathon · 4 August 2013 ·

People who are deafblind have substantial visual and hearing loss which causes extreme difficulty with communication, information and mobility. We aim to raise aspirations and expand the lives of Deafblind people, some of the least visible and most isolated members of society.

Story

I will be skating in the East Fortune Roller Marathon in memory of my friend Craig Hunter who sadly passed away two years ago at only 27 years old.

Last year I skated 27 miles the extra one was for him, I did it beer in hand and I fully intend to do the same again this year.

This year I am honoured to be skating with Glasgow's Team Awesome and they are exactly that.
