NHS Charities Together and its members across the UK are hugely grateful for the support received from so many since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Story

So many healthcare practitioners and carers are risking their lives every day to care for our loved ones and keep us safe. We wanted to show our appreciation by raising as much money as we can to support our incredible NHS.

We have decided to go on virtual tour to Birmingham, Alabama as this is where the 2021 World Games would have been held next year, where lacrosse would have been given the opportunity to earn its place in the 2024 Olympic Games. This tour is not exclusively for UOB Lacrosse Club members, we would like to get as many people involved and active as possible…and of course raise some money for our amazing NHS!

Birmingham Alabama is 6,801km away, so get running, walking, cycling, jogging and be sure to log all your exercise on the google form! Please share this information on all your socials and get as many friends and family involved as possible, both exercising and donating!

Just like any regular tour there will be challenges, boat races and fines along the way so keep our eyes on our social media for ways to get involved!

We leave for tour on Saturday, who knows when we will get there!

What goes on tour certainly won’t stay on tour so get tagging @uoblacrosseclub using the hash tag #BRUMTOBRUM

To join our facebook community for tour bants, or to donate on our fundraising page, or to log your distances please check the LinkTree in our Instagram bio @uoblacrosseclub

Let’s do it for the NHS!
