Campaign by Sport Relief (RCN 326568)
Row Britannia is an inclusive (adaptive sport) mental health, fitness and wellbeing challenge for teams throughout the UK to raise vital funds and positive awareness between 12th November 2019 and 13th March 2020.

Story

Brunel has joined teams across the UK in Phil Packer's fantastic inclusive mental health, fitness and wellbeing challenge Row Britannia 2020, which asks teams throughout the UK to help raise funds for Sport Relief and mental health charity partners. Staff and students are invited to take oars and row to reach our university goal of 2,020 miles to raise £3,000 and we are well on our way!

We've got until 6 June to row enough miles to Greenland – and you can donate to our JustGiving campaign and help us hit our target.

FAQs

Can I transfer miles from a rowing machine at my home gym?

Yes. Though the campus sports facilities are closed for now, you can still participate by take a picture of a rowing console which shows the mileage you have completed and email it to sports.centre@brunel.ac.uk in an email titled Row Britannia.

What's the target?

We are aiming for Team Brunel to jointly row 2,020 miles between now and 6 June 2020 in order to raise £3,000 for Sport Relief. For more information see the Row Britannia website.
