Story
I am a Dominican Friar and Ultarunner. In July I will be running the Ultimate Trails Ultra marathon in the Lake District hills, a 67 mile race over 24 hours for the second time.
This is a new fundraising page, so please follow me here as I post my progress with videos and photos. You can join me by following my 'vlog' as I train for this challenge.
Find my videos clicking on the 'thumbnail' below or by visiting my YouTube channel 'Running Friar'.
You may remember that last year I couldn't finish, but this year I will beat this challenge and in doing so, raise money for my brethren to train the next generation of Dominican friars.

The Dominican Friars in Britain have seen a surge of vocations in recent years. Now we urgently need to raise £1 million to cover the costs of training these men for the priesthood.
On entering the Order, Dominican friars give up all personal property, committing themselves to poverty through religious vows.
The generous support we receive from many lay people is then essential to enable us to sustain and develop our mission.
