As some of you may know, the original October 20l9 endurance 20k row from Putney to Greenwich was sadly cancelled due to bad weather. However, not to miss out this challenge and to honour our generous supporters, Fulham Reach have planned to row the same distance on Sunday 8 March. We have 24 rowers plus 3 coxes taking on this challenge, leaving Hammersmith around 2pm, rowing 10k upstream and then returning around 4.30pm. In true Hollywood style, we hope to row the final stretch as a rowing exhibition with three Octos side by side - let the cameras roll !!

The event is to support the Club's important charity work offering over 1,300 state school teenagers each year, the valuable opportunities rowing provides. Please watch this excellent short video which illustrates the remarkable impact on some children's lives.
