Each year I try and raise money for a local charity, and this year I've chosen to raise much needed funds for Home-Start North East Aberdeenshire. 

Home-Start is a local community network of trained volunteers and expert support helping families with young children through their challenging times. Home-Start are there for parents when they need them the most because childhood can’t wait.

This will be my longest and possibly, toughest challenge to date. The furthest I've run is 2 Half Marathons (back in 2016/17),so not ony am I a few yrs older, but I'm also running further than I've ever run. 

Any donation, large or small, will go to help Home-Start North East Aberdeenshire continue with their valuable work which is even more vital in these difficult times. 

There's a saying that it takes a village to raise a child. For some people, Home-Start are that village.
