On New Years eve while babysitting the grandchildren I decided that 2015 was the year to commit to my third overseas challenge.

I had previously completed the 2001 Nile Bike Ride and 2003 Sinai Bike ride in Egypt raising nearly £7000 for Mencap.

Macmillan's Vietnam and Cambodia Challenge event appealed to my sense of adventure and I signed on the dotted line and committed there and then to raise a minimum of £3950 to assist Macmillan in supporting people living with Cancer.

Today, 2 million people in the UK are living with Cancer and around 300,000 new cases are diagnosed each year.  Macmillan wants to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with Cancer and they count on their supporters to fund 99% of their services.

So I thought I could help them achieve their goals and ask you to support me in raising not less than £3950.
