On 29th August I will be taking part in The Great north Bike Ride, cycling between Seahouse & Tynemouth, all in all a massive 55miles approx.

This is to raise money for The Chris Lucas Trust, a little bit of information about they do is below.

The Chris Lucas Trust is established to raise sufficient funds for a Scientific Researcher.

To encourage and support high quality research into Rhabdomyosarcoma, (a very aggressive cancer), with the aim of maintaining and improving human health. 

To help improve the quality of life of children and young adults.  

To advance scientific research and disseminate knowledge of research findings to help other types of cancers with the aim of meeting national needs in terms of health, quality of life of children and young adults.  

To promote public engagement with medical research.  

To work in collaboration with all medical staff to ensure that the Chris Lucas Trust aims and objectives are adhered to, achieved.
