At PowerPlay, we have ramped up our efforts to help girls & gender non-conforming youth across NYC grow physically, emotionally and academically stronger since the coronavirus hit, instead of shutting our metaphorical doors. 

PowerPlay's robust, historically supportive programs continued to demonstrate significant positive impact: 95% of this summer's virtual Leadership Academy participants grew across the nine social-emotional learning capacities which we assess them in-including two new capacities which are key drivers of college readiness.
