Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. This year I will be running the London Marathon for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Not only have the folk at the charity persuaded me to run 26.2 miles, they have talked me into running the BUPA Great Edinburgh Run for them just 2 weeks later!
I'm honoured to support Marie Curie in the amazing work they do. Every year they provide care to around 30,000 cancer patients and their families entirely free of charge.
As some of you will know, the team at the Marie Curie Hospice in Glasgow cared for our friend Graeme in the last few months of his life. The dedication shown to him touched us all.
The cost of this kind of care is enormous, but the team behind Marie Curie want everyone who suffers from this dreadful disease to be allowed the chance to die with dignity, in peace and with some comfort.
