In 2023, Mike and I are taking on a 1447 mile challenge. Over the year we're each going to cover 1447 miles by foot (mostly running, a few hikes too). This is equivalent to the distance from our house in Chester to my Mum and Dad's house in Burgau in the Algarve, Portugal. As an extra twist, we're going to include a half marathon race each month. Helsby Half Marathon in January is already under our belt, the other races are:

Rhyl (FEB), Liverpool (MAR), Blackpool (APR), Birmingham (MAY), Stoke (JUN), Abersoch (JUL), Lancaster (AUG), Caernarfon (SEP), Bangor (OCT), Conwy (NOV), Milton Keynes (DEC).

As of 18 January we're on 62 miles, or just approaching Kidderminster in other words!

We are taking on this challenge to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support who provide help and support to people living with cancer. Cancer affects people’s lives in so many ways, and Macmillan do whatever it takes to give people the support they need.
