As you may well know I'm no runner so reading this may come as a shock :p

I am doing this half marathon because I wanted to remember this year by doing something to support others in need and seeing as it will be my 21st birthday in May I would like to achieve something during that year. I am supporting two charities The Robbie Anderson Cancer Trust and The Lucy Bluebird Cancer Trust

I will be running 13miles starting from Robbies favourite place in Leicestershire and then finish at Lucy's favourite place.

Robbie was an unbelievable young man and everything he achieved in his short life was inspiring! Having spent most of my life with Robbie i know he was very determined and did not let anything phase him and he was always up for a challenge. Robbies dying wish was to raise money for the teenage cancer unit and with all the continued support Robbies wish is coming true, the children are starting to receive the best possible care to get them through this difficult and stressful time. With the money raised they have been able to donate Tvs, games, electronics, books, arts and crafts and lots more creative things!

Lucy, is an incredible young girl currently battling another rare form of cancer and although I do not know Lucy I have been following her story and have been truly touched and I just want to support her in her battle with cancer. Keep your head up and stay strong Lucy, we all hope and pray for you to get better soon,
