On the 24th September 2017 I will be running my first half marathon in Ipswich- did I mention I hate running long distances?

I will be running in memory of my wonderful nan who recently left us but a woman who will always be remembered in our hearts.

Something she taught me from a young age was to be grateful for what I have and to help those who truly need it. This has always been a passion of mine and I am more than excited to have the opportunity to offer something back...

Therefore, in March 2018 I will be taking my first trip out to The Gambia where I will be giving my all volunteering to help the local community.

The money gained from donations will go directly to the charity BACE (Building and Assisting Communities with Education) and the work they do. I will be funding my own accommodation, food, flights and vaccinations.

Please help me to raise money for this wonderful charity, a charity whose trustees all work on an entirely voluntary basis- making sure your money goes towards funding the projects.
