WE NEED YOUR HELP...
Four extremely brave volunteers, Pete Reynolds, Finn Regan, George Dandridge and Greg Feehan have stepped forward to do a tandem skydive for Wiltshire Air Ambulance and they would love to have your support in the form of a donation.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance is a helicopter service which ensures the injured and ill are taken by air to the help they so desperately need, they make such a huge difference to the action time of a patient and because of this it’s saved many lives. Wiltshire Air Ambulance is a vital part of the emergency services in the Wiltshire area yet solely rely on donations from us to keep it in the air! - Our Charity - Wiltshire Air Ambulance
We’re sure a lot of people have a strong tie to this service in some way, we certainly do, it’s a charity that’s very close to our hearts as members of the BT team, Malcolm Tripp, needed their help after a garden related accident in 2014 and Chris Wilkes-Ciudad (one of the expected jumpers *) had complications with an operation in June this year.
*Chris was really looking forward to showing his support by doing the skydive but of course we all decided it's far more important to keep him well and so keeping him away from any open plane doors 15,000ft up. All money kindly donated to Chris so far is going towards a 'big thank you' from him personally for everything they've done to help him recently.
So, the four brave volunteers have taken it upon themselves to show us how fundraising is really done by climbing to 15,000ft in a plane and bravely jumping out (maybe with a little nudge from the person strapped to their back but we won’t dwell on that). We would love to smash their target and give them that ‘a job well done’ feeling as they're free falling through the air but of course we need your help.
If you would like of show your support, please leave a donation!
