We are a group of 20 BTEC Level 3 students, who will be throwing a 50's themed carnival for elderly people in Gateshead who are supported by Age UK.

As well as hosting a party for elderly people in the local community we will be doing lots of fundrasing for the charity and presenting them with all the money on the night.

Age UK, which supports around 250 pensioners in Gateshead, will use the cash towards purchasing a new minibus to serve disabled or housebound pensioners. The charity currently has three minibuses to serve pensioners but two of the buses are more than 13 years old. Last year students raised £414 for the charity so we are aiming to at least double this total. You'll see our fundraising target above. Your donation can really help us smash this goal.
