Story

BTPRelay - a #BTPosse Relay team for BT100 take on the At Home Superheroes challenge!

We're back . . . and this time it's serious!  Normally, I would be getting a team of three together for the Superhero Tri, but that's been cancelled this year due to coronavirus.

So I've gathered 15 of us BTPosse pals to take on an epic challenge to celebrate BT100.  We're not just doing a 20km, nope we've based all our challenges around the 100 theme!

We'll be introducing the team & their challenges in the BTPRelay in our updates, so make sure you check them out!  It's an international team to reflect the global community of tweeting Border Terriers that is the #BTPosse.  The baton will therefore be passing between continents and time zones throughout the challenge.

We're fundraising for Border Terrier Welfare for furpals less fortunate than ourselves, so if you can help out with any spare £s, you'll be helping Border Terriers in need.

About the charity

Started in November 1981 with two strays in Southampton, we now cover the UK, receiving some 250 referrals annually, with dedicated volunteers and no paid staff. A committee of 12 is elected annually at an October AGM. 10 of these are charity trustees, who meet 4 times a year to review progress and determine strategy. BTW receive invaluable support and assistance from 7 regional breed clubs, and from the more informal btposse, and borderfest groups, from whom fund raising challenges have emanated.
