Story

The team at Wallingford's The Body Training Studio (BTS), has chosen Against Breast Cancer (ABC) as its charity for 2019. Over the course of the year, the plan is to hold a number of events, seeking to raise much needed funds to support this amazing local charity.

Following an unbelievably successful Train the Trainer event in February and the inspiring 48 non-stop cycle challenge in July, which collectively has raised over £16,000 so far, the next event is upon us and this is another marathon in the true sense of the word!

The Breast Walk Ever takes place on Sunday 8th September 2019 along the Thames Path starting in Abingdon and follows the river to Beale Park (between Goring and Pangbourne). There are two main events, a half marathon of 13 miles and the full marathon covering a distance of 26 miles.

It would be brilliant if you could support us or you may even wish to join in, you can do this by signing up online with breastwalkever.org or speak to us at The Body Training Studio.

The success of this event will be measured by the donations we receive, so please help us ease our aching feet and reach our target by pledging as much as you can so we can help ABC achieve their ultimate goal of preventing the secondary spread, the main cause of all breast-cancer related deaths.
