Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page! I'm Gemma and I've been working with Second Chance for over a year now, specifically with the cats. This Friday 15th January I will be throwing a birthday bash for our cat Bub who we rehomed back in March - he is a friendly, loving boy who just loves keeping me company all day which has been so needed this past year.

We'd love to raise some money for the rescue, who give so much care to so many cats! Not just covering food, water and vet visits but giving them lots of love, too. I'll put a bit more detail about the improvements we'd love to make with the right funding below:

- A new cattery is in the process of being built (so we can house more cats!) and this still needs kitchen units and flooring. We'd also love to install shelves in each pod for the cats to chill out on in their outside enclosures.

- Our main cattery garden, where cats live together rather than in their own pods, we'd love to enclose the wire mesh keeping them safe with a layer of perspex so it's better protected against the weather.

- General upgrades and improvements, repainting, insulation and new sheds are needed.
