Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. As part of our Budding Manager programme, we will be raising money for Neighbours in Poplar. This is a charity that provides food and support to people within a community that Telford Homes has been working to regenerate for some time. They have been cooking and delivering hot dinners (24,000 and counting!) to people all over Tower Hamlets, thanks to their volunteers.

Neighbours in Poplar’s work makes a huge difference to those who have often been forgotten by society. This is an invaluable service especially for vulnerable people who live alone. Their unbelievable kindness gives folk comfort and a sense of independence, reducing isolation and loneliness. In many cases it provides a meaning to their days.

For our part, we will be packing and delivering hot meals throughout the borough for Neighbours in Poplar. We will also be making a food donation to their food bank.

We would also like to raise funds for Neighbours in Poplar so that they can continue the amazing work they do, and here’s the bit where you can help! All you need to do is buy a ticket for our raffle. Tickets are £5.00 each (via donation) but, the more you buy, the better your chances of winning one of our amazing prizes:

1st prize - A dining experience for two people at an award-winning restaurant

2nd prize - An overnight spa break for two people

3rd prize - A bottle of Berry Bros & Rudd champagne 

To enter the raffle, simply follow the steps below:

• Donate £5.00 or more via our JustGiving page (the closing date for raffle ticket donations will be 17:00 on 13th May 2022)
• Send your donation email confirmation (or a screenshot) to amy.thorpe@telfordhomes.london
• Wait until 18th May 2022 to find out if you are one of the lucky winners!

If you would rather make a smaller and/or anonymous donation without entering the raffle, please feel free. Any help makes a huge difference and is massively appreciated!

T&Cs

All donations will be given directly to Neighbours in Poplar. Anyone who donates £5.00 or more will be eligible to enter the prize draw. Each £5.00 donation is eligible for one raffle ticket entry (e.g. £20.00 donation buys 4 raffle tickets). The closing date for the prize draw is 17:00 on 13th May 2022. Any donations after the closing date will still be accepted but will not be entered into the prize draw. The raffle will be drawn by 17:00 on 17th May 2022 . Winners will be chosen at random. Winners will be contacted by 17:00 on 18th May 2022 and can either collect their prize from Telford Homes Head Office or provide their home address for the prize to be posted.
