Buddy was sadly one of the worst cases of neglect that we had ever seen.</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">A horse of Buddy’s age and breed should weigh between 280 – 300 kilos but Buddy was so emaciated that when he arrived at HorseWorld he weighed only 108 kilos; a third of what he should. As soon as we saw him we knew that we had to do everything in our power to save this brave horse. Our dedicated team of grooms gave him round the clock care – he was so weak that we didn’t dare leave his side for the first few days and we checked on him every hour, day and night.</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">The neglect that Buddy has suffered means that every day that he lives is a gift but he never stopped fighting for his life: <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">he never gave up and neither will we</strong>.</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">There are so many other horses and ponies just like Buddy; by donating to Buddy’s Hope Appeal you are helping us to fight not just for him but for dozens like him.</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">On behalf of Buddy, thank you.</span></span></p>
