Buds Run 2016 · 9 October 2016

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

The only date you need to know this Autumn.

Sunday 9th October 2016.

The next installment in the brilliant Bud's Run trilogy!

After two fantastic years which have already helped raise over £40k to support Parkinson's UK the team are back to make a bid for the big 5.0!

We need your help...we wouldn't have achieved any of this without the incredible support from friends, family, athletes and Parkinson's supporters from near and far  and this year will be no different.

Last years event was led by the Jarrow Arrow - Steve Cram, and hosted over 500 runners and yet more incredible guests leading the fight to raise awareness of Parkinson's.  In 2016 we will again be at The University of Birmingham, with a route winding around the famous campus, taking in the brilliant new Sports centre which opens later this year! It goes without saying it will be a memorable occasion, a day not to be missed. Will you be there?

Both 2014 & 2015 saw huge numbers combine to show their support for one of the running world’s most popular figures. They walked, jogged, and ran a 5K to raise money for Parkinson’s UK – Bud Baldaro’s chosen charity. Thanks to everyone’s hard work, we have pushed the total to over £40,000 for Parkinson’s UK.

Now it is time to reach the next big milestone. This is your chance to be part of an incredible group. The Bud's Run family come from all walks of life with one shared goal - to come together in recognition of one of athletics most popular characters, and raise funds & awareness to fight Parkinson's. Be part of this special group and help us achieve our goal of £50,000. You can make a difference - come and join us!
