This Ramadan to continue the legacy of our beloved father and grandfather, Muhammed Sonu Miah-Ahmed and our sister and Aunt, Shiulee Khanom.  Our family have pledged to build a masjid in Sudan, directly with the help of Muslim Hands (Charity no: 1105056) and we need your help. 

On Tuesday 03rd May 2022 after spending Eid-ul-Fitr beautifully with all our family. Our sister reunited with our beloved Father, Al-Haj Muhammed Sonu Miah Ahmed who returned back to his Rabb on the 12th February 2021.. 

To honour our beloved father and sister, to give Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity), we have pledged to raise funds to this beautiful cause.  Our sister left behind 3 young children, with her youngest only being 7. We ask you to keep them in your precious Duas. 

"The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity." (Al-Tirmidhi)

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said, ‘Whoever constructs a masjid for Allah, Allah will construct a house for him in Paradise’. (Bukhari)

A masjid is at the heart of any local Muslim community. It provides a place for its worshippers to pray and contemplate as well as being a hub for educational programmes and other everyday services. The role of the masjid is to help people learn more about Islam and to nurture their moral and spiritual development.

May Allah swt grant our deceased family members the highest maqaam in Jannatul Firdous. May Allah swt have mercy on them, forgive their sins and widen their grave. May He make their grave an abode from the abodes of Jannah. 

May Allah (swt) make the donations you make a means of entering Jannah for you and your loved ones. May He also reunite us all with our loved ones and grant us all Sabr during difficult times.
