Story
On 9th November, 8 hardy UOSCC members will be setting out from Sheffield and riding to Edinburgh.for 2 charities close to UOSCC home, Young Lives VS Cancer and Crohns and Colitis UK.
In May this year, Nick Clayton, a long term UOSCC member tragically passed away after a short battle with cancer. Him and his family were supported by the amazing Young Lives VS Cancer through his illness and after he passed away. Nick also had Crohns disease, an inflammatory bowel disease where the medication needed increases the risk of developing lymphoma. Nick drove the Bummit support van a few years ago and was hoping to ride it this year. Helping fund research into Crohns could help find new treatments or even find a cure in the future.
We are riding 250 miles, through night and day to Edinburgh, whilst racing the baby Bummit Hitchhikers there.
We would love it and really appreciate any donation you could give to these amazing charities. We will keep you up to date with our journey up north...
