Story
Dear friends, mates, buddies and random acquaintances, A huge and massive thanks to absolutely everybody for their generosity, support and encouragement over these past few months. Its been incredibly motivational to have all of you behind me and it certainly pushed me on through the difficult miles. It was a tough day and the sun was beating down which made it just a bit harder but I finished and there were times when I didn't think I could. Didn't quite get the time I had hoped for but that's just inspired me to do it again! Even though the race is done I'm still collecting for Cancer Research for the next few weeks to try and get to my £2,000 target. Almost there so if you're visiting this site and not yet thrown any cash my way then please donate whatever you can. I'll be forwarding all the donations and sponsorship to Cancer Research in July. Thanks again to everybody ************************************************
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
I'm running the London Marathon again in 2009 and am trying to raise £2000 (at least) for Cancer Research UK. Cancer affects almost 1 in 3 people in the UK with a new person diagnosed every 2 minutes. It impacts the lives not only of the sufferers but also of those close to them. It is for these reasons that I would like to raise as much money as I can in the hope that it can in some small way make a difference to others' lives. Therefore, I ask that you please donate whatever you can for this worthwhile charity and in return I will run as hard as I can to make sure I cross the finish line in one piece.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
Thanks again and hopefully see you all for a refreshing beverage after the race.

PS - If I come first I expect you all to donate double!
