This race is going to be great fun...lots of people running through London, getting covered in paint. But theres also a real reason for doing it. Its a chance for all us unfit ones to challenge ourselves to achieve something that we wouldn't normally do. Some of us started our triaining last week, and had to get off the treadmill after just one minute...so 5k isn't just going to be a stroll in the park! And the reason for putting ourselves outside our comfort zone like this...to support the work done by cancer research organisations, helping to fight the battle against cancer. To state the obvious, cancer is horrible...it affects everyone, sufferers, friends, family, and friends of friends and family. My Nana was one of the lucky ones, and she won her battle, and my world is a better place because shes still in it. But others who fought just as bravely have not been so fortunate. Noone deserves to suffer from it, and noone deserves to have to say goodbye to loved ones because of it. If by running the colour run we can raise even just a little bit of money to help more people beat it then it will have been a race worth running. My Nana beat it. Other people can too. We just don't know how yet, so please support us on this run to see if we can try and help find out.
