Thanks for visiting our fundraising page - we've done it!!
Burnham on Crouch RNLI needed to raise £130,000 towards a new boathouse for our new Atlantic 85 Lifeboat which arrived on station in March 2011. A new boathouse was required as the previous one was too small to house the new larger lifeboat.
We are thrilled to announce that we have finally reached our target!
We have been astounded at the support we have received for the Burnham RNLI Floating Boathouse Appeal. The support we have received has been shown by the fact that we have received donations from not only the local community in Burnham, not even from just Essex, but from the entire country - even from as far afield as Oban and Loch Ness in Scotland.
Your generosity has shown us the place the local crew and Lifeboat station have in our community.
