I will be attempting to break the record for most chest to floor burpees in 12 hours. The current record as far as I know is 4545! The attempt has been accepted by guiness world records so it will be official if I succeed.

I’m doing this challenge to raise money and awareness for mental health uk. Earlier this year a friend and work colleague took his own life, something i found hard to understand and get my head round. Hopefully my challenge will be another step towards removing the stigma around mental health issues such as depression, and might make it easier for someone else to talk about their problems.

Part of the money I raise will also go to ‘friends of Belmont’, the trust that raises money for Belmont school, Cheltenham. A school for children with special needs, the school have been kind enough to allow me to carry out the record attempt in their hall.
