Karen is a volunteer at our shop in Burton,she was motivated to join us over 12 months ago after the devastating loss of her Brother Mark, aged 39 to cancer.

Karen has the longest hair - 31 inches to be precise (2.5 ft)!! One day she turned to me and stated she would shave her hair off, if she could raise £2,500 .. we are aiming for £3000.00 and to make it a day to remember.

The date of the shave is 19/05/2018 which should have been Marks 45th Birthday, it will be done at our shop with the initial cut of hair being packed and sent to the Little Princess Trust to make wigs for children affected by cancer. 

We are organising fundraising activities to help raise money, and keep Mark's memory alive, you can donate via here or in store until 31/05/2018. 

We think Karen is exceptionally brave for doing this and and what an inspiration! This is a game changer and Team Burton is with Karen every step of the way, together we will raise £3000.00 for her dramatic hair cut and ensure that this tribute to Mark Tremayne is a day of celebration for his life, one that was taken away too soon
