In spring of 2022 we received the call that no-one ever wants to get; Dad had passed away suddenly from an undiagnosed heart condition.

Seemingly in the best health of his life, Dad had spent his retirement with Sue raising money for a number of charities, perhaps the most notable of which involved him doing an annual long distance bike ride. 

One of the last photos of us together as a family was when Helen successfully completed the London Marathon in 2019. It seems fitting therefore that Helen and I will both be running the London Marathon in 2023 to raise money for the British Heart Foundation in his memory.
