Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

My father suffers from Parkinson's and it is difficult to watch the worsening symptoms with no prospect of a cure. It is a worrying future ahead for sufferers of this disease and that's why I want to help by raising as much money as I can for such a worthwhile cause.   Having successfully completed my London to Paris challenge last year (£4,200 raised - big thanks all!) I've decided this year to take on the big one! Lands End to John O' Groats (10th -18th Sept 2016).  With nine long days in the saddle cycling approx 108 miles a day (968 miles in total) and climbing to around 15,000m (twice the height of Everest).  I think I might have my work cut out with this one but excited nevertheless about the challenge ahead and raising as much money as possible for such a worthwhile cause.
