Story

I am rallying together a group of sporting and hugely enthusiastic friends to join the Buttler's Bailoff 26!  - aptly named after team member and England cricket player Jos Buttler; he and his lovely family are pictured above.

We aim to achieve 26 crazy cricket orientated backwards runs to raise money to help our young captain, Ted  save his favourite charity. Ted is an 11 year old blind boy who is impressively running 26 miles over 26 days to raise money for Living Paintings. The Buttler's Bailoff 26  are not only running backwards in pads but also not looking behind in appreciation of the fact that brave Ted can't see where he is running. Ted is a real inspiration… so much so that 26 of us and further supporters want to help him achieve his 'Team Ted' fundraising target.

The charity gives blind & partially sighted children & adults the chance to experience reading and art through raised images and audio descriptions  - it's truly magical how much it enhances peoples lives. For example, Ted recently said Living Paintings have opened my eyes to the world’I am so proud that my Granny set up Living Paintings Charity 30 years ago which my wonderful Aunty Camilla continues to efficiently run & as a family it is extremely close to ALL our hearts.

Please join us in supporting Captain Ted and all those blind and partially sighted children and adults whose lives have been transformed by the fantastic Living Paintings.

Watch out for regular updates!
