Help London Music Masters create exciting musical opportunities for young people!
Will you join us and create an exciting new piece of music by one of the most brilliant young composers in the UK today?! By donating you could win the chance to attend an exclusive drinks reception at the premiere of ‘Grains’, as well as the chance to meet the composer. One lucky person will also be selected for a complimentary treat for two courtesy of Living Social.
London Music Masters is commissioning Martin Suckling, Royal Philharmonic Society Young Composer of 2008, to write a brand new violin concerto for Agata Szymczewska, London Music Masters Award Winner. Called ‘Grains’, it will be premiered with the London Contemporary Orchestra in London, December 2011 and played again with the Southbank Sinfonia in Spring 2012. This is a fantastic career development opportunity for Agata to premiere a new work, as well as an exciting chance for the children on our music education programme, the Bridge Project, to experience contemporary music in a new and exciting way through a series of accompanying workshops.
We need to raise £4,250 by the end of March 2011 to make this happen, and we need your help!
If you’re on a tight budget but would like to help us ‘drum up’ some support....Just £5 will fund one bar of Martin’s new violin concerto, or £10, three bars(!) plus entry into our raffle to attend an exclusive reception at the premiere of ‘Grains’.*
If you’re ‘in tune’ with our vision....£20 funds one whole line of music, or three lines for £40 plus the chance to win a treat for two from Living Social**
If you’re keen to make a truly ‘notable’ contribution….fund a whole page of music for just £80, or two pages for £120!
