I will be running the Leigh 10k, the Wigan 10k and the Manchester Half Marathon in memory of a close family friend.

Last year we lost a truly fantastic person, Susan Twist. Not only was she a truly fantastic person but Susan was a close family friend and she was my Godmother. More importantly Susan was a wife, a mum, a grandma and a friend to many people. There has been a massive hole left in many peoples lives and if we can raise money to help other people and other families avoid the heartache that cancer causes then it will be worth the brief pain of running over 25 miles in memory of Susan :)
