Bournemouth Refuge Christmas Dinner · 19 November 2021

We’re a specialist housing and support provider helping people who find themselves experiencing homelessness and in vulnerable situations such as relationship breakdowns, addictions, unemployment, surviving domestic abuse, human trafficking, release from prison and deteriorating mental health.

Story

At any time, we house 18 families at Bournemouth refuge, including many children. Christmas can be a challenging time for anyone trying to budget and afford all the festivities. It can be especially challenging for a family who has fled abuse and is having to start a new life. This year we would appreciate any donations to help us to provide the gift of Christmas dinner and all the trimmings to our families. We would like this to include turkey or equivalent, vegetables, gravy, pudding, and enough to also provide crackers, some decorations and sweet treats to make the day as special as possible.

Please donate anything you can and share our mission!

Best wishes,

BWR Team

BCHA has supported vulnerable people for over 50 years, helping over 10,000 people off the streets, out of abuse, over skills barriers and onto independence and work each year. Our mission is to help people take control of their own lives. Wherever people feel vulnerable or stuck, we want to equip them to find a way forward, by offering the highest standards of support for housing, health, learning and work - or any combination of these needs.
