This year, Bettys York have chosen The Candlelighters Trust as their branch charity.

Candlelighters support children diagnosed with cancer throughout Yorkshire, and their families. From diagnosis onwards, Candlelighters is there to offer financial, emotional and practical support. Candlelighters also funds medical equipment, toys and staff on the children’s oncology ward at the Leeds Children’s Hospital, to provide emotional and practical support to both the children and their families during treatment. Additionally, Candlelighters fund research into childhood cancer aiming to improve diagnosis, treatment and long-term effects.
