This is our second page welcoming donations for PACT. We have now finished wainwrights epic Coast to Coast. 

Donations will be Going to PACT Parents Association of Children with Tumors and Leukemia. A tiny charity providing Vital help and support to both Children and their parents whilst facing long term illness in hospital. 

195 miles, 8,900m of ascents and 500,000 steps, just 12 Days, as Wainwright intended. Walking every step of the way.

St Bees to Robin hoods Bay. Irish Sea to North sea.

This is no leisurely walk across the English countrySide but a brutal hike across the Raw landscape. Wainwright liked his fells and hills and it showed. We took it easier in the English Lakelands choosing to take an extra day between Rosthwaite and Patterdale. However this meant a hugely tough day across Moors between Ingleby cross and Glaisdale (30miles in a single day).  

The walk tested us physically to the very limit. From the highs of kidsty pike pitting my Goat-like climbing ability to Steve's Mig-25 Foxbat walking pace on the Flat.
