Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Canterbury Christ Church University Athletics Team is asking members to Walk, Run or Cycle 50 miles each, equalling around 800 miles or more in the space of a month. This will start on the 8th March until the 8th of April. We have chosen to give our donations to the Kent Autistic Trust because Autism is a disorder close to some of our members hearts. We feel that this will boost our fitness and wellbeing too due to inactivity from the Pandemic. Study’s show that 1 in 54 children in 2016 were diagnosed with having Autism Spectrum Disorder. Autism is a well-known cognitive impairment that comes in the form of a spectrum. Everyone is on this spectrum however, some are higher than others, deeming them autistic. People who suffer from autism, similar to other mental disorders are near and dear to all athletics members hearts. Hence why we have decided to help raise awareness and money to help provide care, counselling and other support to those in need. Please donate whatever you can, every little helps! Thank you so much, Love C4 Athletics❤️
