Story

Stephen Adamson is a Sports Ambassador for Achieve together and a member of Campaign 4 Change - a self-advocacy group for people with learning disabilities and autism. He is a dedicated and independent man with a talent for sports and a great sense of humour.

Due to Stephen's autism and social anxiety he had to overcome many obstacles. But through his own dedication and strength Stephen achieved great many things, including running a Walk & Talk group where people can improve their physical and mental health, leading exercise sessions for elderly people with learning disabilities and autism, being shortlisted as a finalist for National Learning Disabilities and Autism Awards three times and being named a Leader on Learning Disability and Autism Leaders' List 2019!

Last year Stephen walked 7 km during World Autism Awareness Week and managed to raise £205 for National Autistic Society. Stephen wants to walk 7 km again this year, the walk is scheduled for 28th September. Let's help Stephen beat his last year's result (or even double it)!
