Save the UK's Charities General fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled.
Which is why : On Sunday 26th April, I will turn my trans flag into a cape once more, to help raise funds for Mermaids and #beahomehero for Transgender Kids and their families.
"Anyone can thrive with the right network of support"
My Mission in the 2.6 challenge:
- Complete a 2.6 mile run.
- Complete 260 push ups.
- 26 mins of HEAT
- All within 26 hours!
About Mermaids: Mermaids work incredibly hard to reduce isolation and loneliness (all year round) for transgender children, young people and their families.
They aid young people to cope better with mental and emotional distress as well as boosting their self esteem, whilst providing their families and health services with the tools and education and support.
