As many of you know (and am sure are bored of hearing about), I've taken up running in the last few months! After being exhausted after running 1 mile in March, I'm now planning to tackle the Great Birmingham 10K at the end of this month with some university pals. 

Everyone I know has been affected by cancer. Only a few years ago I lost my wonderful Grandpa to this cruel disease. Taking part in this 10k is only a fraction of the challenge people with cancer have to go through, so I'd love it if you'd donate! Every penny counts.

THE DIFFERENCE YOU COULD MAKE AS PART of #TEAMUoBJust £100 could pay to grow a minitumour of an individuals cancer, ready to test possible cures on. £250 could pay for the testing that identifies the right treatment for the individual patient. If #TeamUoB raised £20,000, this could buy a machine to identify more genes that cause cancer.
