Hi, my name is Caitlin McLean and I am 11 years old. I wanted to get a new hairstyle and have decided that if I am going to 'chop' my hair, I may as well do it for charity. I found out about the Little Princess Trust charity whilst browsing online and was inspired to not only donate my hair but raise some money along the way.
Check out the great work that they do for children suffering from hair loss during cancer treatment or alopecia. It costs around £300 to make a 'real hair wig', as well as the actual hair donations of course..............this makes a BIG difference to young children, watch the videos on there website and see for yourself.......
http://www.littleprincesses.org.uk/So, on 22nd May I am having my hair cut for FREE by a fantastic local hair salon, WYCKED HAIR & BEAUTY in the Quadrant Shopping Centre, Coatbridge. The manager there, Sharon Ferguson is also donating a £50 voucher which everyone who makes a donation will be entered into a FREE prize draw. The draw will take place when I have reached my target fundraising amount.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help, no matter how small, it all adds up.
Thanks you,
Caitlin
