Lapland Expedition · 11 November 2020

Support West Haddon Primary School on an Expedition to Lapland. Travelling 1,433 miles as the reindeer flies by walking, cycling, horse riding or skating! All money raised will be shared equally between the PTA and The Faraway Children's Charity.

Story

Caitlyn is taking part in her school's Lapland Expedition to help raise money for Faraway Children's Charity and for her school's playground project.

Caitlyn  has a personal target of 50 miles or 80km over 5 weeks! We think she'll smashed her target!

The funds will be split 50:50 between The Faraway Children's Charity to help disadvantaged children in Northamptonshire and the school playground project. The PTA have applied for £4£ matched fundraising to support the activity so your donations could be multiplied!

Sponsored Lapland Expedition

Can the children of West Haddon Primary School travel 1,400 miles together from West Haddon to Lapland before Christmas?!The children, teachers, parents/guardians and grandparents are attempting a virtual expedition - to travel the 1,400 miles it takes (as the reindeer flies) to reach Lapland! They can walk, run, cycle or skate during the next five weeks to make up the distance to reach Lapland. We will definitely get there, if we travel 2 miles each week. With the help from family and friends, we're raising money for the PTA playground project and The Faraway Children's Charity. The funds will be split 50:50 and we have applied for £4£ matched fundraising to support the activity.
