Fundraising for Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service

Calcot Royals and Highmoor Ibis have come together to play a Charity match at the Rivermoor Stadium in memory of Matthew Pike.
Matthew enjoyed life with a passion and was a dedicated Reading FC supporter.. So we will be playing an over 35’s football match in his memory.
Everyone is welcome to come along and offer their support. The more the merrier.
The match will be held at Highmoor Football Club, Rivermoor Stadium (Reading Town FC Old Ground) 2nd December 2017 with a 2pm kick off.
All proceeds will be donated to the Alex Devine Children's Hospice.
Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service was founded in 2007 with the aim of providing a dedicated children's hospice service for all children with life limiting and life threatening illnesses in Berkshire and beyond.
Families tell us that they find it difficult to find the right support at the right time and we understand that it is the whole family who need to be looked after. Our ultimate aim is to provide well co-ordinated support, which is available from the point of diagnosis for as long as families want.
We currently fund Alexander's Nurses who provide quite unique specialised care and respite by regularly supporting families in their own homes – our service is unique because we work very closely with all our local NHS hospitals so that families receive a 'joined-up service'.
