Story

Hey,

Thanks for taking the time to click the link!

6th March starting at 4am through till 8th March, I'm going to be running 4 miles every 4 hours (for 48 hours, hence the title 😅) as part of a live event run by my man and yours, Dave Goggins (look him up if you're not already familiar).

A person very close to me is currently enduring the challenges thrown at him by MND (specifically ALS), and to be honest I feel pretty powerless to physically help him. However, I can help those people and professionals that have an understanding of the disease support him, and others like him.

There have been many that have made people more aware of the disease recently, Rob Burrows and Doddy Weir, to name a couple, as well as Patrick Quinn who co-devised the the ice bucket challenge (for those a that may remember it on social media).

I'm a pretty portly lad (especially after three lockdowns), and while I feel mildly confident that my knees will last the duration (I'll be doing it on crutches if I have to), its the lack of sleep thats gonna be the real kicker!

Any support would be great, and much appreciated, not just by me (and the minor ego boost of hitting my target), but also by those who you will actually be making a difference for.

Much love - stay hard🤙
