Story
Following 2 successful fundraisers in 2020, I have set myself the challenge of running 100km in under 10 hours on May 1st 2021 to raise money for the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity. This ultra marathon will be by far the biggest physical challenge I have endured so far and will push me to my limits, both physically and mentally. The plan for the run is to complete the same 10km route around Kilmarnock 10 times, with 10 different people. Having failed to meet my goal time for my first marathon, I’m determined to beat my target time of 10 hours for this challenge. I have been following a structured training plan for the past few months which has got me on track to be able to beat my goal!
Any support towards the fundraiser, whether that be a share or a donation is greatly appreciated. The charity has personally done a lot for me in the past and has also been incredibly supportive during my previous fundraising challenges.
