Cornwall Wildlife Trust believes in a wilder future for Cornwall, where our wildlife and wild places are cherished for all to enjoy. We implement projects on land and at sea, conducting campaigns and managing wild spaces to ensure nature in Cornwall thrives for future generations.

Story

Cornwall Wildlife Trust has a rare opportunity to buy 84 acres of
threatened land in west Penwith across two spectacular and nationally
important sites for nature - Bostraze Bog and part of Bartinney Downs.

The Trust will restore these sites to prime wildlife habitat, but only if it
can raise £20,000 to help with a Heritage Lottery Fund award.

Changes in policy bring the very real threat of destruction to wildlife
on both sites. You could help us save species such as rare marsh
marsh fritillary butterfly, unique round leaved sundew, skylark and the
iconic barn owl.

We must find this extra money to help us buy and create what I know
will be fantastic nature reserves. All donations will help us draw
down extra funding to protect Cornwall's wildlife and wild places.
